This is from an adventure in which the players, who are cat pirates, are so down on their luck that they decide to steal a box from another pirate’s ship. The map is part of the Free Port of Claw Haven. Two more maps formed part of scenario – the Lazy Mermaid Tavern situated in the Old Town and 3 ships on the docks, which includes the infamous ship known as The Night’s Dark Terror.
In fact, I found the town map wasn’t really necessary for this scenario and it will be cut from the final version. The tavern set up (which included a rival adventuring gang) plus the ships plus player shenanigans was more than enough to fill 3 hours.
But I’m sure this map (and the Free Port of Claw Haven) will get revisited at some point.
The map are intended to be printed on two A3 sheets each (so split in half) to allow minis to roam across it. The numbers indicate how many storeys high the buildings are (with roughly 10 feet per storey), whilst the hexes are approximately 30 feet across.
The final versions (hopefully with colour, time permitting) will be published with the scenario.
